AAP Counseling Unit hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Mon.-Fri. AAP Professional Counselors are different from AAP Peer Counselors in that there are four AAP Professional, adult counselors available within AAP that can personally help you with any concerns you may want to speak with a professional about versus a AAP student peer counselor.

CAC helps students plan and shape their undergraduate career at UCLA and assist in engaging students in a broader dialogue to clarify academic and personal goals. CAC advising includes degree requirement, general education requirement, credit transfers, and other services to ensure that you are on the right track towards graduation. College Academic Counseling is solely for the majors within the College of Letters and Sciences. For appointments please come to A-316 Murphy Hall between 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday: Window 1 to meet with a College Academic Mentor (same-day or advance appointments as available) & Window 2: to meet with a Full Time Counselor (same-day appointments only).
Honors Program Advising
Honors Programs offers academic counseling and student advising services in a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. Honors counselors are specially trained professionals whom students collaborate with for pre- and post-graduate planning, while Honors student affairs advisors assist students in navigating the various university processes, rules, and regulations.

The Office of Student Services provides a variety of advising and program planning services to UCLA Arts students. The staff is available to help students navigate through the requirements for the undergraduate degree from the point of admission to graduation. Services and information offered include: Academic advising for new and continuing students; maintaining an up-to-date online degree audit for each student; advising students on program planning, course selection, changing majors, double majors, minors, academic difficulty, education abroad, and transferable coursework; reviewing and processing student petitions requesting exceptions to University, School, and departmental policies; providing online enrollment services; providing advising and clearance for study abroad programs; and providing official clearance for graduation.

School of Nursing

The School of Nursing gives direction and provides information to interested potential applicants to the B.S., M.S.N., and Ph.D. programs through admissions information sessions. The admissions information sessions are presented in a group format with a number of scheduled speakers. We encourage participants to arrive prior to the beginning of the session. Refer to the program of interest and click on the Admissions Information Sessions link. On acceptance to the school, all students are assigned a faculty adviser to aid in planning their total program. Students are expected to meet with their adviser each term to evaluate progress, to identify academic and personal needs and match them with available school and University resources, to confirm University and course requirements, and to maximize the student's abilities to reach educational and professional goals. In addition to meeting with their faculty adviser, freshman and sophomore students in the Generic BS program will meet with the Student Affairs Officer to plan their program of study
